Sharks are facing a global decline in population due to unregulated commercial fishing and negative public opinions. Over two years and 50 expeditions, I documented the important work carried out by the University of Miami Shark Research and Conservation program and spearheaded multimedia initiatives to bring greater awareness to their research goals.
